Robyn Hart
Robyn Hart is an ex-soldier who settled down in Esk for a more peaceful lifestyle after leaving the military. He had his fair share of witnessing death particularly in the battle of Veceilsk, where many people suffered horrible deaths. According to Jonas, this has a connection with Robyn's recent bouts of "seeing things" and shapes out of the corner of his eye before disappearing completely.
As of current, Robyn spends his days raising caribou, training the young men (and Petria) in shooting and sword fighting, and harassing Anya for love and attention. He does the latter most often, and his feelings for Anya are well known to the people of Esk and Anya herself. However, Robyn can't seem to catch a break from her, as she has the preconception that he simply wants her to quit her job and be his merry little housewife. As untrue as this is, it leads Anya to act rather coldly around Robyn.
From what we've seen, Robyn is a pretty nice guy. He's shown that he wants to be helpful to Anya, and from his interactions from Petria we see the "big soft bear" in him. Robyn is also protective of the people he cares about (he is also not immune to jealousy), but he means well.
