The Phoenix Requiem
The Phoenix Requiem takes place in Esk, a small village situated within England's industrialist Victorian era, where magic has become unobtainable. The people are closely knit enough to know that when the mysterious Jonas Faulkner is lying in the snow with a gunshot wound just on the borders of their area, he's not from their town. Who is he, exactly? Where is he from? What of his past? All of this is unknown, although Anya, a young nurse, appears to be interested in finding out. Meanwhile, the shades are certainly up to something...
